Guided tour of a well-know winery in Montalcino. Visit to the cellar and tasting of three wines including Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. Oil tasting produced in the farm. The estate of the vineyards adds up to 50 hectares: 80% of this area is planted with Sangiovese, in accordance to the local tradition of Montalcino while other international red grape varieties and white local varieties are grown on the remaining 10 hectares. After the tasting, possibility to visit the fascinating Abbey of Saint Antimo based just few meters from the winery: one of the most significant architectural Romanesque remains.Transfer to the center of Montalcino: charming medieval village surrounded by mighty walls and dominated by an ancient fortress. Lunch at your leisure. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
