Sailing school in The Gulf of Follonica, in Tuscany. 5 days sailing lessons to learn the main navigation techniques. Ideal also for families, the school is situated a few minutes away from the hotel, reaching on foot. 3 stars hotel: Hb included.  Course for min. 8 people. Cod. 16.

Day 1: Arrival and welcome. 3 stars Hotel situated on the gulf of Follonica on the Tuscan coast, between the sea and the pine forest, in front of Elba Island. The hotel offers excellent service and very good refreshments. The city of Follonica, which extends on its own gulf, is surrounded by beautiful age-old pine forests, marvellous sandy beaches and crystal clear water. For the last consecutive years Follonica is proud to own the European Blue Flag. Follonica offers numerous amusement opportunities such as sailing, golf, mountain bike, spa resort, boat trips and cultural environmental places of interest to visit. Afternoon: sailing School. 2 hours of theoric and practical lessons. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast. Sailing School: 2 hours of theoric and practical lessons. Afternoon: tour of the medieval village of Massa Marittima with its old and steep alleys, its buildings dating back to the XII-XIII century and its marvellous San Cerbone Cathedral. Return to Follonica and dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Breakfast. Sailing School: 2 hours of sailing lessons. Afternoon free to relax at the beach or to go shopping.

Day 4: Breakfast. Sailing School: 2 hours of theoric and practical lessons. Afternoon: guided tour to the enchanting medieval villages in the surrounding such as Suvereto, Bolgheri and wine Tasting of Bolgheri wine DOC in a famous winery. Tour of the farm and vinery with a wine Expert.

Day 5: Breakfast. Sailing School: 2 hours of theoric and practical lessons, then departure.

*The Sailing School has a fleet with stable and secure boats, ideal also for children. The courses of different levels, consisting of theoretical and practical lessons, which teach: nomenclature, tuning the boat, go (beat, stern, slack) rigging, sail trim, evidence of reversal, weather and winds, local rules of navigation, a compass reading. The Sailing School collaborate with highly qualified instructors. There are many classes planned for: children, adults, beginners and for those who have already refined techniques of navigation.
